At first when I saw you I gave a smile

And you saved it in your file

And thought to conquer me with a trial

When you realized the inner me was so fragile

You held it so tight & felt a bond

And you treasured it & felt so glad

Now you knew there was a special bond

Later realized it as the friendship band

Then I began to see things in your eye

Which was far beyond the sky

Now I was certain that we shared a tie

Not to break, treasured it so high

Later realized, it was worth a try

Finally, when I gave you my heart

You heard its tune & felt your defeat

The thought of us break was a shiver in the feet

Obviously, it was a fright of heat

The only answer to this was a wedding treat.
